Roger Weiss

Roger D. Weiss, M.D., is clinical director of psychiatry at Mclean Hospital and a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology with added qualifications in addiction psychiatry.
As clinical director of the McLean Hospital Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Program, Dr. Weiss oversees the treatment of patients with substance use disorders and patients dually diagnosed with substance use disorders and coexisting psychiatric disorders. The program attracts patients with complex interactions between substance use and psychiatric illness, with a significant number of regional, national and international referrals. He is a frequent speaker on clinical treatment of patients with substance use disorders both locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Dr. Weiss received his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1976 and his A.B. in 1972 from Harvard College. He is licensed in Massachusetts.
