Certificate of completion
When the user has viewed the entire course, a printable
completion certificate is available to provide documentation,
when necessary. Users may choose multiple certificates
based on their requirements. Cognistar records each
certificate request, and depending upon accreditation
agency, may provide information directly to the agency.
User records
Cognistars database maintains records of each
users enrollments and course progress. These records
are displayed in each users personal pages and
can be made available to an administrator.
Catalog and course searching
Our catalog display facilitates rapid identification
of courses by broad categories, by a number of narrower
topics, by accrediting agency, or by searching for a
user-provided keyword or key phrase.
Course previews
Every course can be previewed before purchase. Previews
are fully-functional courses, but limited to a subset
of segments. Users can even search for keywords or key
phrases in the full course text, although not all segments
will be viewable.
Notepads
Cognistar learners can maintain personal notes on each
course. Original notes can be entered from the keyboard
or material of interest can be copied from a course
and pasted into a NOTEPAD. Notepads can be printed.
Notes entered into the notepad are available as long
as the course is available.
Course evaluations
Users may file course evaluations after courses are
completed. These supply Cognistar editors and developers
with valuable feedback, enabling us to continually improve
our content and delivery methods. Relevant evaluations
can be made available to customers who have commissioned
custom solutions.
