Detailed Scheduling and Planning

This course will teach you the various techniques for effective material and capacity scheduling. You'll learn the principles of material requirements planning (MRP); you'll learn the various types of MRP systems, priority planning and managerial considerations in implementing MRP. You'll learn the key concepts in inventory management, ABC analysis, inventory reporting, measuring inventory performance, inventory management practices, and procurement and supplier planning. You'll also learn to recognize the skills of the project manager, become familiar with scheduling tools such as the Gantt chart, network diagram, critical path, and PERT charts, identify project team functions and explain project closeout.
