Speaker / Author:

Dr. Vinekar is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems & Operations Management at the Charles F. Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in Information Systems and a minor in Management from the University of Texas at Arlington. He obtained his Master's degree in Business Administration with a major in Information Systems from Texas A&M International University. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Architecture at Manipal Institute of Technology in India. He won the Americas Conference in Information Systems' Best Paper Award and the University of Texas at Arlington's Lawrence L. Schkade Award for Excellence in Research in 2007.

He has over 10 peer-reviewed journal articles, including publications in Information Systems Management, Journal of Computer Information Systems, IEEE Computer, Journal of Information Technology Management, Journal of Information & Knowledge Management, and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. He has presented over 10 peer-reviewed papers at international, national, and regional conferences, including the Americas Conference on Information Systems, and the Decision Sciences Institute Annual Conference.
