Speaker / Author:

Chas Mastin is the VP of Engineering at Control Group, a world-leader in physical computing and city-scale engineering. Chas started programming at age eight, and has been a professional developer for 20 years. He has held roles from CTO to the guy making animated gifs, and has a deep passion for Agile SDLC and for empowering teams to make meaningful process decisions. At Control Group, Chas most recently worked on the Edward M. Kennedy Institute project building the Senate Immersion Module, which allows tablet-driven role-playing as a senator. Chas has helped implement Scrum and adaptive processes at several startups and publicly traded companies, and has developed new estimation techniques that are particularly helpful to teams in service delivery industries.
