Peter Vogel - Presenter
Peter S. Vogel is a Partner with the law firm Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in Dallas, Texas, where he serves as Chair of the e-Discovery Team and Co-Chair of the Technology Industry Practice Group. Mr. Vogel holds a Masters in Computer Science and a Certificate in Data Processing, and has worked as a programmer, systems analyst, graduate school lecturer and management consultant. He has written and lectured nationally on computer law topics, including the Internet, e-Commerce, and the e-Discovery. Mr. Vogel served as President of the Dallas Bar Association. Since 1997, he has served as Chair of the Texas Supreme Court Judicial Committee on Information Technology.
He also serves as a Court Ordered Mediator and Special Master in Computer e-Discovery, Technology, and Internet Matters. Mr. Vogel is an Adjunct Law Professor at the SMU Dedman School of Law and since 2000 taught courses on the Law of eCommerce. You may review his blog on the Internet, IT, and e-Discovery at
